Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Video to Link handles personal information when you use video2link.net, create an account, upload a video, generate a link, or purchase a subscription. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Service.

We collect information needed to operate the Service: Google sign-in details you authorize us to receive (such as name, email address, profile image and account identifier); account and subscription records; uploaded files and their metadata (including file name, type, size, upload ID, selected expiry and access-code status); generated link records; and communications you send to us.

We also process limited technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, request logs, and security or abuse signals.

We use information to authenticate accounts, host and deliver videos, generate and protect links, apply plan limits, process support requests, prevent fraud and abuse, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, and improve the reliability of the Service. We do not sell uploaded videos or use uploaded videos to train AI models.

A video link can be opened by anyone who receives it. If you enable an access code, recipients must also provide that code. Please do not include sensitive information in a public link or share a link with people you do not intend to access the video.

We use Cloudflare for hosting, application delivery, Cloudflare R2 file storage and Cloudflare D1 metadata storage; Google for optional account sign-in; and Waffo Pancake as Merchant of Record for subscription checkout, payment processing, taxes and invoices. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. We do not receive or store full payment-card details.

Uploaded videos and active-link metadata are retained for the delivery period you select, subject to configured expiry and lifecycle cleanup. We may retain limited logs and records longer when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, disputes, accounting, legal obligations or enforcement of our Terms. You may request account deletion or privacy assistance by emailing support@video2link.net.

We use essential cookies and local storage needed for sign-in, security and core site operation. If we enable optional analytics, advertising or similar technologies, they may be subject to separate notices or consent controls where required. You can manage many browser storage settings through your browser.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Our providers may process information in countries other than yours. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to certain processing. To make a request or ask a privacy question, email support@video2link.net. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

We may update this Policy when the Service or applicable requirements change. The effective date above shows when it was last revised. Continued use after an update is subject to the updated Policy.
